God Dwelling Securely with Us – Psalm 16
We live in insecure times. Money, house, things and even relationships are never wholly secure.
God is for us, yes. But He is also with us.
With Him we will not be shaken.
Seeking refuge in God, v1-8
He is ultimately all we need, “the overflowing source of all good”
Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
Psalm 16
you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.
An eternal refuge in God v9-11
Not only for this life.
The grave is not the end. The end is not decay!
9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;

10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
