Luke 1:26-33, An ordinary young woman, in a small town of no account. But God favours her. This is Grace!
The plan of God
Luke 1:34-37, How will this be? God Three-in-One will do it. The Holy Spirit, the power of the Most High, and the Son of God are all here together. A mystery, but we are told enough. See 1 Cor 1.

The price of humble submission
Luke 1:3, “May it be to me as you have said”. She submits, to whatever it takes. She surrenders her reputation. She surrenders her comfort, as in Simeon’ prophecy “a sword will pierce your own heart”. Her Son was to pay a bigger price.
