In the beginning
God made the world.
God made mankind with freedom, and it was Good. And He loved them.
Mankind abused freedom and it was Bad. God still loved them.
Disease and death, suffering and sadness spread. God still loved them, and promised one day to send a Rescuer, a restorer of all things Good.
He sent Jesus. Perfect Man. Perfect God. Died in my place. Died for my guilt. Beat death, devil and sin.
Perfect King. Returning King. You can trust Him.
Jesus said ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.’
